The story

We found this little workshop tucked down a quiet street in Marrakech — shelves stacked floor to ceiling with bowls, spoons, and boards, each one shaped by hand from a single piece of wood.

We sat with the maker, sorted through the pile, and chose the boards we'd want on our own table — the ones with the prettiest grain, the warmest tone, the kind of soft worn edge you only get from hand work.

Each board is one of one. The wood, the curve, the little knots and marks — none of them match. That's the point.
